Morgan starred as a woman as a woman in the AIDS prevention and educational video Safe Sex for Men and Women. Proceeds from the video was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is also on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a member of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Group. She has also spearheaded many other fundraising projects in the fight against AIDS and testified before the special Congressional Commission on AIDS Education. Morgan is also a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar and on the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop asked her several times to assume his place at AIDS activities. She also hosted the AIDS Awareness Special together with news anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to be on two occasions on Nightline with regard to AIDS. Morgan was nominated for an Emmy for the special Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. This spring, Morgan costarred with Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC TV. The summer started by presenting Murder At The PTA Luncheon, produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. Marla Gibbs and Cindy Williams also appeared. In her next role, Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady along with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also starred in the psychological suspense thriller made exclusively by the USA Network garnering one of the most impressive ratings in the history of the network.
